1968 Airstream Safari 22 - Colorado
I just posted a new ad on Airstream Classifieds.
This stunning Vintage Airstream Safari Land Yacht has been wonderfully restored and polished. This little Beauty draws a crowd everywhere she goes, gets thumbs-up driving down the road and everyone wants to see inside and take pictures. If you don't like attention this is NOT the trailer for you. A Movie Star, this Vintage coach was even featured in a TV special about top beach campsites. Built in Santa Fe Springs, CA most of its life was spent in sunny SOCO. It was restored and polished about 7 years ago and has spent its time in a climate controlled warehouse. She now resides in Beautiful Colorado and the skin has minor blemishes from normal use. The restoration, plumbing, wiring and polishing was done by the highly reputable M.E.L trailers in Orange, CA. LP and Electrical systems have been upgraded and function perfectly. 2 30 lb propane, Coleman COLD mach series AC, Dyna-Trail ducted (forced air) heat. Dual Electrical system 12-V DC and ED lighting, Surflo water pump. Jabsco accumulator tank, new water filtration system. Alsons "vintage look" shower head and fixtures, new tub faucet, Tetford Aqua Majic IV Toilet, new smoke detector, AM/FM/CD/ Ipod USB stereo, Domestic propane/electric fridge/freezer, Magic Chef cook top oven, upgraded towing and running lights, A&E power hitch jack, Goodyear Marathon Tires and Wheels with baby moon caps, Original Airstream Central Control Panel and all the original books and Manuals.
A LOT of time and money has been spent on this baby, She has been loved and well cared for. A very spacious coach with great natural light, and custom Awning with frame and poles.
This is a used Vintage trailer and is being sold as is. I personally have use this coach for several years and have enjoyed the attention. Its time to find another loving home for this beautiful coach.
