1968 17ft Airstream
Caravel Land YachtÂ*
Completely gutted and re-constructed. Taken down to the frame. Used very little since completion.
It has been polished with a three stage system since these photos were taken.Â* Current exterior photos will come in a few days.

The previous owner Meticulously restored this trailer, and catalogued and photographed the entire process which will be part of the sale package along with all receipts of the work.
Â*All electrical and plumbing completely re-done. Every wire and plumbing line labeled for ease of any future repair!
Pull-out bed as is shown in one of the photos. Bench tops lifts up for storage access (with additional access from an exterior panel), and the other bench top has removable access panels. The lifted top is shown open.
This Caravel boasts a grey water tank, an amazing addition and difficult to do. Many campgrounds will not allow trailers without either a built-in or portable tank.
Entirely redone interior: cabinets, drawers, carpet, cushions, drapes, sinks, faucets, toilet, counters.Â*Replaced All appliances: fridge, stove, water pump, converter, water heater, furnace.
Exterior: Nice custom front window stone shield, replaced propane tanks, reflectors, lights, weather stripping, and more
Insulation added to the walls and floor ($674 in insulation)
Tires are several years old, but have few miles and are in good condition. Spare tire included.

This is a highly sought after size. Compact yet roomy and tons of storage. A big advantage to an Airstream of this size and vintage is that it tows easily. This vintage Airstream is a narrow, extremely light trailer which can be towed by a variety of vehicles. According to Airstream Records, a
1968 Caravelle weighs 2460 pounds with a tongue weight of 330. It likely weighs more after the restoration.Â*Â*
