Title:
I just posted a new ad on Airstream Classifieds.
1967 Streamline Empress. 29'.First set of pictures were when we picked her from the field so changes have been made! We purchased in 2013 with intentions to restore and began in spring of 2014. All new axels, wheels, towing gear and outside lights. The interior of this is great for its age. We did replace the floor throughout with a mixture of LVT and VCT. Heat and AC work. Has original appliances. The fridge pilot light will not stay lit. The cooktop works but the oven has pilot light issues as well. The over the range fan works, but is very loud. The previous owner replaced the clean water holding tank and replumbed replacing the original bladder tank system and we replaced the water pump. The hot water tank has not been used so we do not know if it works or not. No water damage. Interior very clean. The lights over the twin beds are funky, sometimes working and sometimes not. I suspect there is a short somewhere, it is prob an easy fix. Interior door handle is broken and taped up, its usable but not pretty. Outside handle is fine. Started stripping layers of pain in the bathroom but never finished. The toilet and tub shower are fine. The vanity top was on my list of things to replace because it is warping and flaking a bit but would still be usable. The outside does have some dents and dings, as any 50 yr old lady would! Has the original awning but its very thin in places! Has original formica made fold up table and chairs!
