I just posted a new ad on Airstream Classifieds.
1966 Airstream Safari in very good condition. Dry weight 3360#. Registered with Airstream Corporation as "Route 66 Safari". New in 2018 - Diamondback wide whitewall tires, 3 new roof vents, one being a Fantastic brand fan. All new interior LED lighting, new basket weave flooring. New latching mechanisms on all of the Corning frameless windows. Updated gaucho cushions and zippered covers.
12 volt music system with external speaker jacks.
Professionally polished in 2018. Includes 2 new 20 lb aluminum polished propane tanks. Floor is 100% solid. NO soft spots or sagging. 2" hitch with break away safety switch. Includes a rare set of single axle skid bars to prevent body damage in case of a blowout.
Original refrigerator works perfectly on electric. Water system and water heater are untested. I have had this for two years. The previous owner kept this garaged and did use the water supply. The price includes a modern Suburban furnace made specifically for the mid 60's Safari model. Purchased through VintageTrailerSupply.com. Never installed in this coach.
Themed pillows shown in photos are included. Anything attached to the walls is also included. The other props are not included. It does include a Marti brand awning (used 3 times) along with a ground rug and a winter cover.
