Title:
1964 Airstream Safari 22 - California
I just posted a new ad on Airstream Classifieds.
Ready to camp tonight. This posting is for a
1964 (possibly a 1963) 22' Airstream Safari. As you see from the photos this is a very cool Route 66/Art Deco look.Over $50,000 was spent to get this trailer to this condition and it shows (have all receipts). If you know Airstreams you will know the models from the early 60s are extremely hard to find and prized in any condition. Even a junked trailer of this age sells for $10,000-$20,000.
This is a perfect size that can easily sleep 2-3 adults or a family of 4 but easy to tow which make is one of the most popular Airstream models. It has a pull out gaucho (double bed) along one wall and a convertible dining area in the front for sleeping 1-2. Bathroom in rear with shower and toilet and stainless sink. Custom built solid wood cabinets as no expense was spared on this beauty. Gets rave feedback at the various vintage shows. Stainless steel counter tops. Custom stereo with some LED lighting. All systems work great including the new A/C. Newer water heater. Exterior condition is very and already very shiny for the classic Airstream look. The original plasticote was stripped and many hours were spent to polish it. This is a great family camper and will only increase in value over the years. I love it but cannot keep 3 trailers (down from the 4 I did own)! Available to view in Ramona, CA. I can even store it for a brief time if you don't have a space now.
Price $27,900
Towing is also available within a 100 mile radius at for an extra $100 ($1/mile)
