The Bambi is the most sought after Airstreams because of its useful size, easy towing and light weight (1875 lbs). These campers retain their value better and appreciate quicker than any other. Exterior /Aluminum skin - This aluminum skin is in very good condition but has some minor scratches and dings which are expected for its age. Body has NO corrosion and has previously been polished. This camper would polish to a mirror finish with minimal effort using the polishing kit included. All new LED tail lights with stainless covers. Faux spare tire cover. Polished aluminum Worthington LP tanks. Roof vent/fan for ventilation (Fantastic fan brand).
Water - Can be hooked directly to city water. Original fresh water tank is still usable. Can be bypassed for city water use. Original large gas water heater works well.
Wheels and tires –The tires are newer and in excellent condition on polished aluminum slotted wheels. Bearing have recently been greased. New Henchen axle installed with 5 lug pattern
Overseas buyers – Camper can be shipped overseas via the PORT OF CHARLESTON. (I can help arrange delivery if needed)
Misc – I have described the camper to the best of my limited knowledge on campers but as always, because the camper is 55 years old I highly recommend that you have a look at it before purchasing. Call for appointment.
Purchase information: $2500 non-refundable deposit required at time of sale and CASH balance upon pickup. I will take a cashier’s check or Money order but camper cannot be picked up or delivered until completely cleared (usually 6- 10 days or so). Bank wire transfer is also an option.
