Title:
1962 Airstream Bambi 16 - Oregon
I just posted a new ad on Airstream Classifieds.
This little darling goes where she's towed so you can start Airstreaming this summer. She is a petite 16-foot long and weighs in at about 1900 pounds. She can be pulled by any SUV. Front dinette, side gaucho, back kitchen and side-wet bath. It all works and is ready for you to join the Airstreaming community.
All new: torsion bar axle, upsized tire and rims, poly water tank and pump, plastic fresh water piping, power converter, stainless steel sink and faucet, Formica counter and table tops, aluminum propane tanks (2), JPA drapes, sub floor 5/8” exterior grade plywood, laminate flooring, birch plywood/solid cabinets, skylight/exhaust fan, window screens, Vintage Trailer supply awning.
Newer: Four-burner counter top stove, Dometic refrigerator, six-gallon water heater.
“... Second of three years for the popular Bambi. A total of about 1100 Bambi’s were made. The Bambi is one of the most popular of all the Airstreams, owing to its diminutive size, cute factor, the fact it was totally self-contained (except for gray water), with a very livable layout for two people and was ideal for weekend trips.”—Vintage Airstream
Our Bambi is 53 years old and has her share of dings, tiny dents and scars as befits her age. Call us and let's talk Airstreaming. Email for restoration pictures, etc.
