I just posted a new ad on Airstream Classifieds.
1961 Airstream Spaceliner, NOT SAFARI
One of 85 made, 22’, 19’ body and approximately 3000lbs. Original Zolatone paint and floor plan, front twins have bi-fold cushions and custom mattresses, nook converts to a double bed with the 3 position table (dining, coffee or bed platform) everything works as it should. Upgrades or replacements include 6 gallon water heater, new porcelain toilet, new sink fixtures, pex piping throughout, new 20 gallon fresh water tank,
12 volt water pump, 16 gallon gray water tank, Inteli-Power PD9245C 45 ampere
12 volt power supply, LED lights in all interior fixtures which are all original except galley sink fixture. Black tank has been inspected and in good shape, 9 gallon capacity with modern bayonet fittings.
Body is in good condition with fading clear coat, two dents, one just aft of entrance door and one scrape on street side by water heater, end caps are great. Tires are good, about seven years old and a guess at less than 5000 miles, leaf spring axle (10 leaf, wow), wheel bearings just inspected and repacked. Two 30 lb propane tanks, original rope and pole 7’6” X 10’awning. Clear title in my name, tags good until August of 2020. Reason for selling, well I got a bigger one.
