1959 Airstream Tradewind 24 - Georgia

Title: 1959 Airstream Tradewind 24 - Georgia
I just posted a new ad on Airstream Classifieds.

We bought this Airstream to restore. We have the hard part done already, we've tore out a lot of the old & are at the point of starting new flooring & painting. If we keep we are leaving the front table (converts to bed), stove/kitchen area original, leaving bathroom original, then just add a nice cabinet buy front door in kitchen area to hold mini fridge/freezer combo & microwave, then in the back we REMOVED the original 2 twin beds (putting beds back is the cheapest route) to add a nice full or queen RV jackknife pull out couch/bed. It wouldn't take a lot of money to get this trailer back in usable condition. The one picture with the whole in the side is just missing a access door which can be bought for like $40.00. Brand new tires used once to get the trailer home & brand new trailer jack. There is a lot of space in this trailer. Right now you could design to fit your needs. All ORIGINAL nights & outlets work (except break lights)! As far as we can see the brake lights might actually work, its just missing the plug to plug into vehicle. Husband doesn't want to sell cause he sees the potential with a little work, but I see we don't have the time. So I'm listing just to see if anyone is interested & if so I'm just going to buy a smaller trailer that's ready to roll. Just reiterating, this trailer has not been remodeled as of yet, its a blank canvas ready for YOUR design ideas. Buy this nice little trailer for a low price, update it, & you will see by this site the values go through the roof. It does have a place on the floor that has water damage, but we were just going to lay a new subfloor over it then put a laminate down. It could use a good acid washing & buffing to get shiny again. Let me know if you have any questions or need additional pictures.
You can contact us by filling in the form on the right hand column of the ad listing:
