I just posted a new ad on Airstream Classifieds.
1958 Airstream Flying Cloud all original cult classic collector. Unique and very spacious layout. Only a few hundred made of this model in
1958. Sofa and bed upfront convert into a queen size bed. Original Marvel fridge, Princess stove and oven, and propane heater in excellent working order. Full rear bath, with half tub, shower, toilet and sink. Giant double door wardrobe closet. Original Airstream dinette table! Subfloor is very solid.
Everything was taken out for restoration including:
*Refinished Honduran mahogany cabinets
*New natural Marmoleum flooring
*New plumbing lines and drains
*New copper gas lines, regulator, and tanks
*New toilet
*New steel wheels and proper trailer tires
A very simple trailer restored as it was supposed to be in 1958. There are no holding tanks although plenty of space for them and a relatively easy install. Or use portable tank totes. No
12 volt system but plenty of space and access to run whatever your needs may be.
The upholstery on the front sofa is on the fragile side. Sun damage spots by the window.Foam is newer and resilient. Very cozy. The side sofa is unupholstered and was staged in the photos with a bed spread. All tea cups, kettle, pillows, and bed spread is for staging only and not included. The black and yellow CA license plate was also for staging only. The Airstream has a new modern CA license plate, current registration and title. The trailer is located in Santa Cruz CA if you'd like to schedule a viewing. Delivery for the new owner would be considered for a contract price.
