1954 Airstream Cruiser 25’
This classic Airstream has had a complete restoration. The body was removed and the frame stripped and treated with POR 15. The floor was then insulated with R19 and marine grade ¾” plywood installed for the subfloor. The axle, brake assemblies and shocks are new and the leaf springs re-conditioned. The finish floor is an original match to the existing Marmoleum. All cabinets have been restored to factory finish with a few upgrades. A dinette was built in front to replace the Gaucho and it makes into a large queen bed. Night stands where constructed for each end of the full size bed in the rear. A new 110v/12v panel was installed in the rear along with a
12v converter and Trojan AGM battery. The appliances where in perfect condition and carefully stored until the completion of the restoration. A Dometic low profile AC unit has been installed on the roof. PEX plumbing for fresh water and Galvanized pipe for the LP systems has been installed. New Diamond Back 10 ply trailer tires with new steel wheels and Chrome moons have been installed. An Atwood electric tongue jack and 4 leveling jacks have been installed. New 25-gallon fresh water tank, 15-gallon grey water tank and 12-gallon black water tanks are fitted nicely in this compact trailer. A Garnet sea level tank monitor with water heater and water pump switches is conveniently located in the Galley. This trailer is also equipped with a 6-gallon Suburban hot water heater with electric ignition. The counter tops are original and nearly perfect. The light fixtures are original and in perfect condition. A new vintage awning by Marti’s Awnings is provided.This trailer has been apraised at $58,750 for insurance purposes.
