Overview We purchased this '68 Tradewind in near basket-case condition. After a two-year restoration it was not only usable but looked pretty good.
Exterior
1968 Airstream Tradewind Exterior
Restored to original finish by stripping oxidized clear coat, polishing to original satin finish and having the clear coat reapplied by Dick McIntyre who developed clear coating for Airstream.
Interior

Restored to original configuration, but with all new appliances and fabrics. Actually, we used vintage looking fabrics that have stood the test of time better than the original choices.
Customization
LED lighting above cabinets for color programmability and high efficiency. Totally invisible until it is turned on (via remote control).
Systems and Running Gear
All new axles, brakes, suspension, wheels, tires, and wiring.
