We won, we won!!
Well get out the Flamingo's, we are Airstream owners!
Last Saturday we looked at a 1995 Sovereign 21' that another member here had on ebay and loved it. The last four days seemed to move at a snails pace, but the auction has finally ended!
We just won the high bid and are on our way to the bank for a check them off to bring her home.
Let the fun begin!

Congratulations! I was watching that one on ebay because I thought it was particularly cool. Great floor plan, only 21 feet, and dual axles --- a great one. Have fun!

Just got her home! The Dodge V-10 didn't even feel it behind it up and over the pass! Didn't seem to change our mileage either, but I'm not sure we could get worse than the 10 MPG the V-10 gives us!
Would it be wrong to sleep in it in our driveway tonight?

Congratulations!
I think camping in the driveway can be filed under 'preliminary shakedown'.

Wow, your truck makes that trailer look tiny! Way to go, you will have a blast!

Congratulations!
Sleep in it in the driveway—we did, and had dinner in it each night for nearly a week!

Yea, I should have been born in Texas! I've always had some sort of big lifted 4x4 truck since I first got my learners permit at 15.5 years old!
The funny thing is I drive a little Scion xB as my daily driver to work.

You should sleep in it!! We had ours in the driveway for a month before we could go camping and I would take naps in it and we had drinks in it several times. Driveway camping can be fun!

Great minds think alike...
We got it home about 10 PM last night went in the house, got a bottle of wine and went back to the AS and enjoyed!

Don't forget to pack the necessities: flamingos and of course your flamingo grill (tastes like chicken).
