Staycation!

Well we just cant seem to get a free weekend to enjoy our new to us AS so we moved it down the hill for a little Staycation, complete with campfire!

I have to admit it was the least crowded, quietest campground we're ever stay in! Having the house a few hundred yards up the hill was a help, when we realized we forgot something it was a shot trip to get it!

My grandchildren did not realize they could sleep IN our home since we have always camped in the driveway, they think that is just the way it is. I take them to campgrounds too and they are happy as clams. Sbb

Back when I was going through a divorce and didn't have anything to tow my Airstream with, I pulled out the awning, put the tiki lights ups, set out the chairs and got a big candle for a fire. It worked just fine! The folks living in the assisted living house beside me were tickled and had something to talk about. The pizza delivery boy said it was the first time he had ever delivered a pizza to a camper! So a good weekend was had by all!

Apparently our neighbors like a good staycation too too. We had three other neighbor families around the campfire last night! Their kids were so excited to roast hot dogs and make S'mores while the adults killed several bottles of wine!
When everyone finally headed home we just climbed into the airstream and went to bed!
