I’m still around. With my FC 25RBQ, at Camp Boomerang in Michigan, for now. Hope you all have a good Memorial Day Weekend!

We will be up that way in a few weeks (Saugatuck and Fennville). Trying some Harvest Host spots along the way from Houston. Let me know what you think of the place you are at please….is the construction done?? Hard to tell online, all they have is construction pics.

No recent sells, probably just a rumor. I go to Campit some, but will be at Boomerang until the end of season. Come stop in!

Boomerang is not “done”, but it’s definitely complete enough for a great time. The owners are very quality oriented and moving steady with completion, honestly what’s left wouldn’t effect an RVer much (pool side cabanas, shower room by the pool, etc.). The pool is open and amazing. The drifter RV sites are awesome! The tent camping area looks like something out of a magazine…it’s certainly “done” enough for me!

If you come please tell them Russell from Airforums sent you, beautiful rigs here, but would love to not be the only Airstream! PM me if you wish.

Always 72 for me baby! (The 32 degree reference is an “inside” joke, at least to me, at this point). But, if your thermostat ever suddenly gets stuck on 32 degrees, I’m your man

Wow...Alaska in May and June.....I got an unexpected invite to go on the Airstream Alaska Caravan this summer as I was on the wait list and someone cancelled. Unfortunately I had to pass cause I already have plans for New England this summer.

Whats the cost of diesel up there?? Its $5.39gal in Georgia today.

Hi

Like anyplace else the price varies town to town. I've seen as low as $5.05 and have paid as much as $5.42 for diesel here in Alaska. Canada in the more remote areas was a bit more expensive. Fuel was more expensive in PA back in April when we took off than it is here in AK .

Our original route was to head up through the UP on the way. The weather in late April simply wasn't cooperating with that. We swung further south and crossed over in North Dakota instead. Crazy late snow season this year, pretty much everywhere we've been ( including here in AK).
