Hey guys great pictures! Sergio and I are hosting a New Year's Eve rally at Picacho Peak SP here in AZ. You are certainly welcome to join us if you can make it over. Here are some photos of a recent FOD weekend in Rocky Point, Mexico last month with two other couples and their Airstreams.

I wish we could! I'm stuck working on the east coast until early January... sigh. But thanks to TBRich's travel log, I'll be up to date on all the Four Corners Unit's hijinks and shenanigans! You guys really know how to throw a party! We're really hoping to join in on the fun sometime next year.

Hi, Andy and Jason,
Welcome to Airforums. I'm new to FoD myself. We are in Indianapolis. I'm trying to get the Trade Wind (1968) ready for a Florida trip after Christmas. We're digging out of a little snow storm, can hardly wait to drive South.
Hope you have great holidays!

We've had our trailer for just 6 months, almost... haven't been to any rallies yet, but hopefully that will change in 2011. Anyway, just wanted to say hey!

Thanks Anne!
It's so great to look ahead to a nice warm trailer trip, huh?! We're going to hitch up as soon as I get home from NYC and drive up to Oregon to see the nice folks at AM Solar for an installation. Not as warm as Florida, but still something to look forward to. Safe travels and happy holidays to you!

Hey Andy & Jason! Your pics are great...can't wait to get you to a 4CU rally or a FOD outing... as you already know, we were with Louis & Sergio in Mexico (that's our Bambi in the middle)...great trip. Your Bambi is such a looker!
We're heading to Lost Dutchman State Park over Christmas and then we'll finish off the trip at the 4CU New Year's Rally at Picacho Peak...let the good times roll!

I love the R2DTube name! It fits perfectly! I have solar on my 06 CCD and so does TB. It comes in handy topping off the batteries etc, I also bought a Yamaha generator for the hot summers in the Midwest. It keeps the ac going when it's over 100 outside and allows us a bit more freedom when and where we camp. Welcome to the group!

Welcome new friends! I'm all misty now! Wish we didn't have to be winterized... we learned that lesson the hard way last winter
Make sure you empty your hot water tank if winter gets to be like thirty-below in January.
We'r'e waiting for the shuttle to launch and plan on pulling the CCD out of the barn in February to go back down to Cape Canaveral. We met a couple from one of the Florida units that told us about the Florida State Rally. Looks like a fun one! get out the rainbow flags!
see you down the road...

Hi everyone! My SO and I are "Stream-curious" and looking at options, decided to join the forum to learn more about them and imagine my surprise to find a welcoming thread for family!!
We're celebrating 21 years together in January and used to love camping, but sometime in the last ten years or so the ground seems to have gotten much harder... so we thought a camper might ameliorate this geologic issue.

Congradulations on 21 years! We've been together for 14 years and we love this group. Maybe you can join us for the Air Midwest rally on April 16th in Branson MO. You don't need an AS to come. Welcome to the addiction!

Oops I wasn't ready for that to send. Lol. We bought our first AS over 3 years ago and since that had 2 others. We are now on a 87 classic 345 and love it. We just got it about two months ago. We love AS so much we started collecting them. We now have 9 AS and 1 classic motorhome. We are in our 30's and have a great time camping. We went as far as NY this past summer. I am from NY and we figured when we would go up to visit family why not take an AS and stop at a FOD cg on way. We stopped in Gibson PA oneita cg it was a blast. We just got the classic motorhome about 3 months ago and been polishing out since we got it. Working in motor stuff (me) Scott the interior fabrics lol. We have a ways to go but getting there. The pics of the motorhome is at a cg in GA about 4 weeks ago and the one with the sovereign is in PA few months ago. And the sovereign in Savannah GA for St Patty. Happy camping. Looks us up if ever in Athens GA.

This addiction hits pretty hard! Once I saw my first AS (Swiss Army ed) I searched every day for months until I found the perfect AS for us. 2006 19' CCD. Good luck on your search. What size are u looking for? Have fun.
