Couldn't have planned it much better. 4 trailers in adjacent spaces in the middle of the row, all coming early.

We are arriving tomorrow afternoon. Need to be planted so that we can work from the road during the week. Looking forward to seeing the silver beauties filling spaces around us.

Yes and what an awesome Walmart Airstream Greeter you are! Wish you where greeting us here.
So we made it, 92 degrees and humid, oh how we have missed the South. The only way to deal with this heat is a GT, yes sitting here sippin' on a Gin and Tonic, can't wait for y'all to get here!

I hope the humidity dies down but it doesn't look like it will. How is the CG? Do you like your spot? We're enjoying an ice cold martini and got the wine labels on for the gift bags.

For a group of folks that are (probably) frantically trying to get everything together to get out of town, it's awfully quiet in here.

heh... I just sat down for a few minutes. I've done the rough planning for my menus and the shopping for that, worked on a few little issues getting the truck and the Argosy ready, have laundry in the washer, and I sat down to geek out with my checklists and burn a couple of MP3 CDs for the drive.
I'm getting up early tomorrow to top off the tank and go fetch the Argosy from the storage before I start work, and I'll spend the day trying to stay ahead of work and get the Argosy washed at the same time.
Have you got the hitch and brake controller sorted for the Tundra? Maybe you should text me when you get rolling and then again from Waco... don't want to keep you waiting in Royse City!

The CG is great. It is a clean, and modern facility with a lovely saline swimming pool. We took the kayaks off the truck today, looking forward to a paddle tomorrow. BTW we would love to donate an item from our zazzle site, green streamer, it will be the winners choice of whatever object they would like. Oh yes and there is a shave ice vender on the way in, totally worth the $1.50 in this heat. We are heading to the farmers market on Thursday, in search of some local goodies for the potluck. Will you guys get here already!

B&C,
David, Becky and I will be there Thursday night We're coming in mini-convoy style. [cue song... "I'm east bound just watch ol'Bandit run"]
David - I took the AS to Spillar today and got the thumbs up. They recommend that I run without weight distribution. The Bambi doesn't really drop the backend of The Beast much so it doesn't need to be raised back up. Handling is good. The brake controller is installed so we've got stoppage.
Where do you go to wash? The Bambi needs a bath but I don't know of a place in ATX with bays high enough. I actually was going to see if Catherine's Landing has a service that comes out. We've had that done where we stay in Port Aransas and been happy with it.

Woo hoo! I've been up since 5 and getting some work done but the Bambi is ready to go! T Reg packed full of goodies and once sleeping beauty (Zell) gets up were on our way! The goal is to get in before 6 PM!! This year I'm going to be a bit more organized (and on time) so getting there early!
I'm looking forward to seeing your new set up and will drool a bit over your Toyota! That's what I wanted and Zell said NO since the dogs would be panting their bad breath over his shoulder. Are you bringing the Kayaks?
As for washing the Bambi I do it at home but on the way here you might see a truck wash along the way, Blue Beacon is one I know of.
See you all soon!
