We are getting ready to make the trek to from Atlanta to Arkansas. We are newbys to this rally. So other than the Saturday potluck, are there any other activities or shared meals/drink events that we need to plan for?

I is my humble recollection that there is really no planning required outside of what to bring to pot luck and that can be a bucket of KFC if you want! Not to mention the fried chicken would fit in perfectly with the tv dinner theme! I also recall the weekend being a big drink event with the best group of people we have ever met! We are gonna bring some life jackets cause we wanna get a ride on the party barge!!

Thanks for the reminder about drinks (wine). We leave tomorrow for a week of travel before getting to the rally and we are packing as I write... Forgot that I need a couple bottles of home brew for the rally

Woot woot! We are getting excited about the rally! The schedule will be up soon but the big potluck is Friday (TV dinner night) and the pool party is Saturday (sips and apps) but mostly all you need to bring is your trailer . We can't wait to see our old friends and make some new ones!

We arrived yesterday at noon and are comfortable in our waterfront site. The mist is on the river this morning and it's cooler outside. The only issue now is that we're surrounded by big Class A's and 5th Wheels with all those crazy swirls. We can hardly wait for them to move out and the silver to move in. We'll see you all later this week. Jim and Tim

The Silver Tsunami is on its way! We should arrive tomorrow evening.
Now, if I could just get the fridge to light, I could finish packing up.

Becky is in the air as we speak, and should be landing around midnight. We did it this way last year, too. I'll roll her out of bed in the a.m. and into the car, where she's welcome to sleep as long as she likes while I drive.

We're planning to roll out around 7, which means we'll actually roll out at 8ish. We'll scoop up Mellie, Elizabeth, and Sophie about 7 miles away, and be off!
See you all tomorrow night!

We are headed out this morning at 0530 and hope to make it Thursday in the early Afternoon! May need some assistance when we get there. Fridge iss officially OOC (out of commission) There is a small leak in the ammonia coils and it is now cheaper to replace vice fix..... And It can't be used. We are packing a "big ol cooler" as they say down here. Of course the dog chewed the drain cap off a while back..... We should be able to make it the week-end with out resupply.... But may need to bum a ride into town to get a few things vice tearing down camp to go since we wont have a toad. Can pay with wine or a Basset hound. We have plenty of both
So let the adventures begin! Jim & Tim may be wishing for those class A's and 5th wheels back once we show up in the MoHo It will be like the opening of the Beverly Hill billies with tinfoil and duct tape.

Lol! Two years ago I had to take the red eye from LA. Got home, showered and hit the road! What we will do for a rally.
We are excited to see you both!

You will have lots of rides available with that offer! We are bringing a cooler that we won't really need until Saturday that your welcome to use. Drive safe and we can't wait to see that aluminum tent ( I've seen your progress and that's a NICE tent)

You can head over to Bass Pro Shops in Memphis when you get to Tom Sawyer campground. We were there yesterday. Tons of coolers ranging from $30 to $450. Yeah, $450 is still a non powered cooler.
