For those who will be at FOD for the first time, a friendly WARNING! Watch your caloric intake carefully for weeks before you show up at Catherine's Landing. There are certain "standards" of food preparation, serving, and consumption that I have NEVER observed at any other Airstream event. And, pace yourselves. Despite this advice, you might as well plan on some expansion of your waistline....

Enroute to Palm Springs. We're on I-40 between Memphis and Little Rock. Let's hope they get busy on road repair before FOD. While they ARE doing some repaying, there are chuckholes large enough to swallow a Bambi. We WOULD overnight at Catherine's Landing, but without the rest of you it wouldn't be the same.

If Brad isn't on soon, you can also call Catherine's Landing to ask if there are any sites left in our block. There may be sites near our block that aren't yet reserved but are still available, they can just add you into our group that way. It's good for them to know you're with the Airstream group, so they're reminded that we're a high-revenue event for them.

We're a bit too far ahead for me to have firm plans. Likely we'll try to leave here around midday 5/31 and plan to overnight somewhere in NE Texas or perhaps NTAC, depending on the route we choose.

I was thinking about stopping over at Circle J Ranch. That would knock a few hours off my drive.

The more the merrier! There are a couple more spots left and like David said you can request sites in the same area. This thing is getting pretty big [emoji15]

We are thinking about a group tour to the Clinton Library and checking if there is any interest in going? It would be on Friday and we would do it like last years visit to Graceland where we would carpool. If there is enough interest I'll book a tour.
