Sounds great Sean! Will be a great addition to your growing empire. Look forward to seeing you next weekend with the Spartan in tow. She needs your love. Will be interested to learn more about the park and how I can help. Good thing you're open to all ages and vintages; I've got the two Argosys and the Spartan. At least one is silver!

Today was busy day at the park, seems my Sundays off will be having fun and prepping the work for the upcoming week for some workers. Today was laying out the site drive ways with survey steaks getting the billboard sign ready for new graphics Now to find the right look for it still partial to the bike pulling the airstream any ideas we are open to them will post the signage here when we decide. another update looks like we have a wine tour company on board to service our park with trips to area wineries of course he is a customer of vintage travelers with a Spartan build , just keeping it in the family

We stayed at this park several years ago and used it as a launch point to kayak the Llano down to Castell. I'm excited that you are bringing it back to life!

Its a nice 12 miles or so down to Castell (great bbq on saturdays at the general store) IF the streamflow is over 100 plus cfs. Check the LCRA upper basis streamflow website for "llano river at Mason". Ask at the general store for shuttle options back to the campground.

Hi Sean,
Private Message me, and I'll give you my number, maybe I can swing by and take a look this weekend while you are there. I come down from Alaska each winter and used to stay there before they closed up shop.

So glad to see this thread come back into view, once things go off the front page they seem to just disappear. Mods, can this be fixed?
Sean. That is a nice part of Texas to be located in, and a cool sounding plan for your park. I cruised thru the area last year around this time and really liked the hilly wooded countryside there. And your park is on a river to boot. Sweet!
Lots of restored retro motels and vintage businesses here in Az and N M. Along sections of a Route 66. These are very appealing, especially to those of us with childhood memories of the era.
I'd like to be there to help with the ground floor projects getting it up and running. But am in the middle of systems projects on my 345 motorhome here in Az. At this time. Perhaps this spring my wanderings will bring me your way.
Think you will still have anything left to do :-) ?
Not sure if my 345 and old porsche quite fit the image you are going for, but I do love the oldies.
All the best in your new endeavor!
Cheers Richard

Charlie we are excited about the park and we are water nuts so we are setting up a area at the park for access for non rvers to launch for the river fun, which in turn will bring in future airstreams got to think outside the box.
