Weboost drive X RV install in newer airstreams

I have a 2020 Int and had no interest in drilling holes in my new roof To install a booster. The other issue is attempting to route the wires through the walls. Here was my solution. Use the existing pre wired Satellite connection found behind the stereo in the upper locker. Then plug the exterior antenna into the exterior outlet. I included a link to a package of adapters you will need. Purchase 2 small c-clamps from Home Depot to attach your antenna. I attach mine to the awning in either the open or closed position. Also, be sure to protect the connection between your antenna & 20’ coax. Use heat shrink tube and liquid electrical tape to seal the top seam.

I set my iPhone close to the interior antenna. Then hotspot my laptop or Apple TV to my phone. Works great!!!

This is exactly what was looking for! We have a 2019 28' Flying Cloud and I wasn't about to drill any holes into her. I was hoping I could use the existing satellite connections for the wiring. I was thinking of some sort of hitch mount for the antenna pole but attaching to the awning looks like a simple and easy on/off approach.

We're traveling from VT to TX in late February for a few months staying mainly at state parks along the way and and this setup should fit the bill.

I see your original post was in September 2020. How's your experience been to date with WeBoost? Any modifications/suggestions from your original install setup?

Thanks!

What do you do when it is too windy to deploy your awning?
