Best printer/scanner?

Hello! I'd appreciate thoughts anyone can share, and my apologies in advance if I'm not posting in the right place... We are going to be moving to our Airstream full time in a couple weeks. I need to be able to print and scan. Any thoughts on a small all-in-one? I just looked at Office Depot and found a small printer and a small scanner, but not combined into one package.
Thanks!

i use an Epson Workforce 630. Been very happy with it. There are probably newer models...maybe even smaller. But the quality, speed and size are good for me...and it is wireless...or can be connected with a cable.

HP 6500A.

Great workhorse printer.

Wireless, prints two sided, easy to print from PC, smartphone, iPad.

Printer\scanner is also on my list but pretty low. But since the thread already exists might as well ask here. Does anybody have a combo printer\scanner solution nailed down that uses pure 12 volt DC? If not a combo, just a printer then would be interesting to hear about.

I know you could always use an inverter but I am most interested in any non-inverter solutions. I am sure using an inverter to print still beats firing up the LP generator to print.

I also suspect a laser\laserjet printer may not hold up as well on the road as a ink\inket\deskjet printer? Experiences?

I often use the trailer as a remote office. We use a Brother MFC-J430. The Brother is the ideal printer for me because it provides the following:

- Letter Size or Legal Size Paper
- 4 color printing
- Print/Scan/Copy/Fax
- Automatic Document Feeder for Scan, Copy and Fax
- Superb Scanning Software (scans photos, documents, drawings, etc. as either a bit-map image or as a vector image. Scan to File (PDF, Photo, etc.), set location for scanned file)
- Inexpensive ink, including regular or large capacity cartridges

I know I'm bumping this thread, but hey, technology is always changing and this is a truly great printer.
