Congratulations! Excellent choice. Which dealer did you go to?

I guess we did it, too. We bought a 2013 30' Classic Friday. I say it's the last trailer we will ever buy. Our daughter called it an heirloom trailer.

Congratulations , great choice with the Classic. We love ours. I'd like to be buried in ours but we want the kids to have it.

Enjoy your new Airstream. The 27FB is a great floor plan.

I almost didn't go through with the deal, but I really wanted an Airstream and was afraid if I didn't do it now I never would.

My sentiments exactly. When i die, just make the hole real big and throw in my Road KIng, Pathfinder, Tundra, and old school audio-visual equipment and computer equipment. Let the Airstream be an heirloom trailer.

Hello
Took the new Airstream out for a two week shake down. The weather in Washington state was amazing. The more we are in it the more we like it. It has more storage inside than we thought and the outside works great with having most things in the truck. We pulled a 22' Aritic Fox and got 10 mpg. The airstream is 27' weighs 1,000 pounds more and we got 12.5 mpg. It pulls like a dream. Easy to back up and smooth on the road. We really like the windows and the seating is comfortable. Had to get use to the shower but have worked that out. We are thinking this may be our last trailer. We think this can go at least 10 years and that is about as long as we think we will be going places in it. We are 65 now and hope to do this until 75. We are planning a trip to the East coast next Fall and were thinking of motels/hotels, now we are thinking we will take the trailer. We did have some new trailer bugs and took it to the Portland dealer on our way home. They fixed everything and off we went. Great trailer and we think a great dealer. The worst thing that happened was on our third day out our 13 plus year old golden had to be put down. It was awful as you can imagine but the people in the park were fantastic and we are working through it. Overall we think we should have done this years ago in the beginning and then would not of had to go through the RV's that we did.
Two very satisfied Airstream owners,
Mike

Mike, I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your sweet golden. I can't imagine how hard that was on the road. I'm still in mourning of the loss of our lab and that was over 3 years ago. We always wanted to buy a trailer and take "Milo" on road trips. He loved road trips. Of course, we didn't while he was alive but, hoping a new friend will find us now that we finally bought our AS. Glad you are enjoying your AS. Safe travels and hope another pet finds you too!!

Sad that you lost a member of your family; great to hear that you like the AS ... I'm about the same age-wise and we have similar thoughts and plans... although I must say that there is always an attraction to looking at the longer units... say an Eddie Bauer ...
