Removing Black Water tank in a 2011 Sport?
Hello there-
New to the forum. Still finding my way around the threads. I’m hopping to install an Airhead Composting toilet. I’ve seen a few short discussions regarding composting toilets. But not much for newer Airstreams...at least ones I could find. Any links for- installing a composting toilet in a new airstream, proper venting for a new airstream. And any other helpful hints would be greatly appreciated.
Question:
Can the black water tank be removed? Due to the existing high platform this would be preferred.
What I’ve done so far. More investigative. Loosened the platform from the walls. The flange is set permanently into the tank (or at least very securely). Therefore the platform is not able to slide away from the tank since the flange is set above, in the middle of the platform-then goes into their tank under the platform.
