Jeez, I should know this as I closely looked at both yesterday. the beds are same size. 48x75. I saw no real space between bed and wardrobe. The bottom bed turns into a cave with the the bunk overhead and the bunk is small--- good for a dog or small child. Child's head faces forward as bunk is narrow at corner end. Of course with the the bunk you lose one large window in bed area in exchange for two small portholes. I laid on bed for a few minutes and even when I stretched ( at 6'1") it was long enough. This was a major concern of mine. No space for bed side table in 23D which I don't like but will look into glue mounting a small flat surface onto bulkhead between shower and bed to hold glasses, phone, etc.
