Chassis Upgrade? Flying Cloud 30’ Sofa

Thinking of purchasing a 2012 Airstream Flying Cloud 30’ Sofa.

Does anyone know if it can be ordered with the 10,000lb chassis?
(Same Chassis as the Classic 30')
I might be going fulltiming in it and the extra 1200 pounds of cargo capacity would be nice.

If so, have any idea the cost of the upgrade?

That's a Big sofa. I suppose that if the sofa is 30' then it would need a large chassis to go along with it.
Sorry, I couldn't resist.

I think if you would contact an A/S dealer they should be able to find out the info for you and provide any pricing as well. The dealer would probably be the only one to help as everyone else would most likely be guessing since the 2012"s are just recently being ordered, made and sold.

I would assume - if the Mothership would allow it, they would make the cost more than just purchaisng a 30 foot Classic in the first place....
