Bathroom Door Upgrade
We have a 2014 FC 19CB with the diagonal bathroom door, which only allows one knee to fit within the bathroom while seated. Has anyone upgraded a diagonal door to the more recent split-flexing bathroom door in a CB?

Our 2014 23D has the same bathroom arrangement as yours, and even though I'm not really answering your question, here are a couple of thoughts for consideration:
My wife and I checked out the new split door on a new Airstream at our local dealer, and we didn't like it at all. It just seemed too "fiddly."
Actually, we have found a perfect "work around" for the bathroom door: we just leave the bathroom door open and pull the accordion door closed for privacy. Simple, easy, and plenty of room.

Thanks RFP. That is what I’ve been doing. There are moments of deep thought, however, that require just a little more privacy. I appreciate the comment about the flex door being less than a perfect solution.

By the way, WELCOME to the forum! If I may, I'd like to suggest you have a look at the 23D thread... There is probably a lot of stuff there that would also my useful for your sweet nineteener.

In our 2002 19', the toilet was originally at 90° to the wall behind it. To provide more knee room, we angled the toilet so that it points more in the direction of the door hinge. As I recall, Airstream later installed at least some toilets at the angle we chose. If your toilet is already angled and you still do not have enough room, RFP's recommendation is a good one.

If you do not have small children who might use a curtain as a hand towel (or.worse), why not take down the door and use a heavy curtain instead. A heavy blanket backed with cotton or a quilted fabric would provide quite a bit of sound proofing... and I for one have always wished the.bath fan had a wall switch or at least a pull chain. Those would both enhance your solitude and deep thoughts.[emoji16]
