Zip Dee Chair Storage

I'm wondering if anyone knows if the Zip Dee chairs will fit in the side compartment next to the lounge on the 28' International. I believe this configuration is the same on some of the other models such as the Flying Cloud. It would be handy if they will fit there and I'd probably want to put them in a bag or something so they don't scratch up the aluminum skin.

Any thoughts on this would be appreciated. I'd like to order a pair of chairs so I have them by the time my rig arrives in a few months.

If you mean the curbside compartment next to the door, yes, they fit. That's what it's made for. You can slip the chairs in while you stand outside, but they will only fit one way; and sometimes it takes several tries to find the secret plan.
On mine, I must put the first chair in with the wooden arms inboard toward the interior of the Airstream, and then hold it in place as I slide the second chair in with the wooden arms against the inside skin.

Our Zip Dee chairs fit in our 30' International. I put a small, lightweight blanket around them to protect the wall for now.

Thanks Ken. I think the Classics have a storage place specific to the chairs where as the Internationals just have an open area so I wasn't sure if they would fit.

Thanks, that helps. I'm wondering if you got the chairs in Charcoal Tweed. I'm assuming that matches the awning on the International Signatures.

We had our chairs from our previous AS. They are blue and don't match anything

Shop around, apparently they provide a rebuild kit and fabric that matches your awning

We just received ours and had the material embroidered with our BRN...They are much nicer in person than they appear...Thinking about getting the table too...Funny how previous owners forget to leave the chairs...😂
