Where is the inverter

I'm hoping one of you will know where the inverter is located in at 2012 30' Serenity rear bed Queen.. I checked with customer service at JC, but they seem to be clueless.

I believe I just need to hit the reset button.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

David

Hi

One of the "fun" things you do with any new (to you) RV is go looking everywhere. Under this / behind that / over there / back up under the whatever ..... This may involve pulling some access panels. It certainly means taking out all of the drawers. After this exercise, you will not only know where everything is, you also will know how to get to it.

Best guess, the inverter is up front, mounted on the floor, under this or that.

In some cases, the location of this or that varies as the year goes on and they "learn" more about building this or that model....

In our ‘19, 30 footer, it is under the front couch, driver’s side.

It will be close to the front. If you have a front compartment, that’s where it will be. Look for 14awg Romex and 4 or 6 awg black & red wires. They will lead you to the inverter.

Where’s the Inverter

On our 2013 25’ rear bed Intl, the inverter is under the bench seat on driver’s side. At the left end of the bench seat (next to refrigerator) there is an access port cut into the bench seat if you remove all cushions. You can access it from there, or by pulling the converter which is mounted under the left side of the bench seat. Our original inverter died recently so we had to replace it.

On our 2016 30 footer it is under the front couch on the drivers side. You may need to stick your head a little into the storage compartment to see it.

Under the L couch in front, on the driver side; it will be on it's side (not lying flat on the floor). You can try the reset, or check the small fuse on the unit, or check the large fuse by the 12V bus bars on the front inside wall under the couch (as a newbie I blew that fuse by plugging in a compressor, it's not cheap!). Good luck!

Ours is in the console between the chairs under the front window. Converter is under the fridge.

I think both the inverter and solar charger would be close as possible to the batteries. In my International 28 RB, the inverter and ZipDee power control are under the front bench seat on the driver's side while the solar charger, battery disconnect relay, and fuse are under the storage in the front on the storge container almost directly behind the batteries.

I found it. I had to crawl on my belly like a reptile to even see it much less work on it.

It is located under the front lounge, all the way forward mounted to the front wall.

6 ft. 250# guy trying to squeeze in there. What a sight it must have been.

It might have been easier to remove the entire lounge.

But I found it!

Hi

You might want to go to the User CP tab and enter your rig details in the normal fashion. It will help as folks try to work out this or that in relation to your questions and posts ( = everybody expects your model info to be over under your name ....).

Mine was completely inaccessible. Dealer had to remove curbside outside front compartment wall and replace it with a removable one (with cleats like all the false panels) to get to it in the future. Nice design, Airstream! BTW, I found it after being on the phone with AS support for an hour...It's under the nightstand - NO, it's under the driver's side twin bed - NO, it's under the dinette cushion - NO
