Very good, that will work well. We put in two of the Villa recliners and a custom table top between them in our 25 front dinette model. Love it.

Cheryl, you said you put in 2 recliners. That is what I'd like to do in our 27' International. Did you remove the street side seat yourself? How hard was it to remove? What did you do with the heat duct? The other side seems easy to remove, but I'm nervous about the other side. Just wondering... Thanks, roby

Nice job. Could another recliner be placed on the opposite side of the dinette? And, does the chair swivel over to provide dinetteeee seating?

Can anybody guess as to where I might find a used Zip Dee chair cabinet?
Thanks

I'm not Cheryl (or Doug) but is your international a FB? Our Flying Cloud is and we used the Kottum's trailer as inspiration for our change. However, Chris Burch at AS service said replacing the streetside dining area with a recliner is not recommended for all the reasons you mentioned. So we went with a single recliner curbside, shaved down the table on both sides for more flexibility since it would no longer serve as a bed platform, and kept the couch on the streetside. We're very happy with it!

Yes, we have a FB. Sorry, I should have said that. I suspected as much (about the street side). 2 questions:
1) Where did you get your chair? Love the color (as it appears to match our colors).
2) Did you cut the table down yourself? If not, who did it?
Thanks. roby

We got the chair directly from Villa and had them drop ship it to Airstream where we had the work done. They also cut down the table and relaminated the edges in the factory. They listened very carefully to what we wanted and mocked up everything before installing. We had many conversations with them long before we got to the factory and then worked closely with them throughout the whole process. Highly recommended!!

Airstream is a LONG way from Texas. I was thinking of ordering the chair myself and installing it myself. I could easily cut the table down, but would need to find someone to laminate the edges for me. Would you mind giving me the specks on your chair? It looks like we need one exactly like yours. Thanks Steve! roby

Is that the Villa Lift Recliner? Look nice.
