I dropped my Airstream off at Bob Jones in south houston for some work, some elective, some that could be considered warranty work.
All was well... they started to install my new charger and identified a short in the wire going from the USE/STORE switch to the solenoid.
I had experienced this condition where you put the unit in STORE.. then when you try to go back to USE mode, nothing would happen... unless you plugged in shore power.... in that case, it would go back to USE mode. Intermittent at that.
So we got Airstream involved on this one, and they agreed to reimburse me after the fact for this wire replacement and a door adjustment.
Bob Jones is telling me they have to drop the entire bottom skin to get to this wire, OUCH
And here I was thinking I had gotten away 99% trouble free with only a door adjustment.
