Plywood on Bed to go down

So we took the mattress off the bed and opened up the storage under it. The plywood came up with the air cylinders and now we can't get the plywood back down flat. Is there a trick? I don't want to break it!

Never mind, I just really pushed down hard and it closed. Trying to be too gentile

We had a similar thread the other day. Put the matress on, that helps, then give it a firm push!
