Since I have mouse fur and vinyl ceiling, I only see condensation on the windows. Get a small dehumidifier and don't worry about furnace vs heat pump. My system automatically switches from hp to furnace at 36* f. Turn on the dehumidifier, set the thermostat, and forget it.

Our system also switches automatically from HP to Furnace about 36-38 degrees. Once that happens we tend to use our Mr. Heater Buddy, a 4k-9k catalytic heater and close off the door to the galley/lounge. It uses very little gas from our small, refillable bottles. We have the mouse fur and vinyl ceilings so we have no moisture issues. If it gets too cold, we then use the furnace, however we rarely camp with night temps below about 25 degrees.

Trailers have wheels. I like that. As any prev. camper will tell you, this airstream stuff is a camper's Heaven.
Thanks all for the info. I am eventually going to have to read that library that came with my Castel.
