Film on skylight

Here's one for you. When I was pulling all the warning stickers off my appliances, etc.. I started to peel one off the interior of my front skylight. As I removed the sticker, a thin sheet of clear film came off with the sticker. This made the skylight perfectly clear. My back skylight did not have this sticker on it, and I can't tell if the film is on it or not. The skylight is not clear though. Could someone compare their skylights and tell me if they have my set up or if both are clear.
Thanks.

That is a protective layer for manufacture and install.

Save up for Maxims.. You will want to change to them ASAP.. They are far more energy efficient and "hurricane" wind speed rated. And they do NOT sweat(condensate) inside your AS...

Edit... Get some gorilla duct tape and stick it near a corner of the underside(inside) of your "skylight". Lift the tape and any "film" should also lift with it.

Front sky light is clear. Rear has slight "frosting". You step out of the shower directly under this skylight. It is privacy.
