30RB Inverter Needs AC Power For Passthrough to Inverter plugs
As the title suggest our inverter plugs are not powered when connected to shore power, unless you turn the inverter on. Not sure why some AS have AC power to the inverter and provide the passthrough power needed so you can use the inverter plugs on shore power and some like ours do not. If I understand the problem correctly, it can be resolved by simply plugging in the inverter to an AC outlet. The closest AC outlet to the inverter is literally less than 36" away and directly above the access compartment. As I'm looking over there now and thinking about it, couldn't I just drop an extension cord into the compartment to power the inverter? I think I'll try that now.
The answer to my own question is yes, all you need to do is drop an extension cord into the compartment so you can plug the inverter to the AC power and you'll be able to use all your plugs.
If anyone one would like to ad a comment or I'm missing something, please chime in.
