2013 International Serenity 25 - Things to look for?

Hello all, in the market for an Airstream and am narrowing down choices. So far have rented a 2014 International 27 and have viewed a 2013 International Serenity 25, which I really like. Has the non-plank flooring and some other cool features, including more accessible toilet and the size should get into almost all campgrounds.

Did a search on things to look for, but am looking for some real world experience with the International Serenity line.

Do most people get a pre-purchase inspection?

Also, in full disclosure, my tow vehicle is a 2015 Tundra Double Cab, so go easy on me. LOL It did fantastic with the 27, no concern about a 25.

Thanks!

I have the 2012. There is nothing special to look for in this model, generally, just the same old AS stuff. Yes, you should do a good inspection or have someone reputable do it. There will have been leaks so check the subfloor with a moisture meter. Check the roof caulking. I will say that you need to be sure the water heater electric works, because it is a bear to get to the element if it does not.

After having a 23D Serenity (2014) for about a year w 5k miles on her, I wouldn’t trade for any other interior.
1. It tows great.
2. We’ve towed it w BMW X5, Mercedes GL63 and just traded for a Lexus LC570.
3. I.e. you can easily tow w an SUV.
4. The rear bed IMO is the best layout. You get a 25/27 sized living area w/o a wet bath.
5. Twin axles have saved the day on 3 separate occasions now. Wouldn’t ever go to a single.
6. It fits in All National Parks.
7. Did I say the lighter interior on the Serenity makes it look a lot bigger?
