Which Stream do I have?

I went under selections under "user cp" and there appears to be a 25'SS International, which means Signature Series. There is also a 25' FB International. Well mine is Both. Right? So which one do I have?

Still learning.
Thanks,
SHane

I don't believe we'd break this down as small as the 'Signature Series' run of decor/options. You have the International Signature Series? It's an International.

SS probably means Six-Sleeper (charitably a four-sleeper unless the kids never grow above age 10 ). Wish they still made the bunkhouse 30-footers!

Shane -- Christopher, not Charlie?

But let's look at the User CP choices --

Name:	User CP.jpg

There may be a mistake in that list. SS has always & forever meant Six Sleeper -- which always was a Safari (name changed to Flying Cloud the last few years). A good friend has a 23' International Signature Series and his profile only says 2008 23' International CCD. I'm fixing this to match the current Jackson Center offerings. Back shortly...

Tech, Yes I have the 25 FB, but when I go to this site under user cp, to put what I own under my avatar ,I have another option to include a 25' ss all being international .Well I have both assuming SS means Signature Series and FB means front bedroom.

We are going to update the list to make this clearer but it will take a little time. I agree that SS can be confusing and so we're looking at various options to tidy this up. Look for a change in the next day.

The SS has the corner bed in the back, the FB has the transverse walkaround queen bed (or twins) in the front. Go to www.airstream.com and look at the floorplans and interiors, you'll se how different the layout is between the SS and the FB models.

I have the 2005 Safari FB SE. Now the same thing is called the Flying Cloud FB SE. Here are the current year 25's from lowest priced to highest.
  • Flying Cloud FB - mouse fur on walls and small windows - golden oak laminate
  • Flying Cloud FB SE - bare aluminum walls & big windows that open fully - golden oak laminate
  • International (CCD) FB - has "Wenge" dark brown laminate interior, more modern styling, Bare aluminum walls ... basically the Flying Cloud SE was upgraded to be more like the International
  • Classic FB - real wood interior, Corian countertops, traditional interior/fixtures, pleather upholstery

Thank-you. That explains a lot.

So I have a 25' FB International CCD.As the Mods so graciously corrected for me.

Just didn't see that option before.

Thanks, again

Airstream doesn't have six-sleepers on their site any more, so I've reassigned the relevant members to the 2010 FB International CCD profile category. Thanks for helping us notice this!

it's an int SS twenty five foota'

ALL of the INT 25s are rear door/front bed now.

in some years they made front door/rear bed AND rear door/front bed units in the SAME SIZE...

in those years (not 2010 and not 2010 25s) it was necessary to have the FB label added.

for 2010 it isn't because they are all FBz in 25.

EVERY international is branded an INTERNATIONAL SS (as in signature series)

NONE of them are simply called CCDz anymore...

and SOME of the tiny ccds are speciality flavored as in victorinox/ccd or dwr/ccds or godknowswhatcrazylabel/ccds...

there are 3 color 'decors' in the INTERNATIONAL SS line....

and the basic trim/bright work/aluminum and other interior bits are just enough different fromt the prior years of c c d z...

that they've dropped that 3 letter thang.

instead SIGNATURE SERIES is the nod toward that guys signature...

who ever he is.

the six sleeper name hasn't been IN USE since b4 the morph to flyin cloudz...

and pam anderson is ON jay right now, shakin' her ccDDDz or flyin her clouds...

cheers

Wow, Thank-you. Very Informative. I apprecite it.

So it is a "25 Int'l ss .And the "Front Bedroom" is just understood.

Please correct me if I'm wrong.

well for clarity sake it's not been decided ....

if pam's ccds are ddz, dddz or Es...

the officials are measuring right now.

and specifications or options are subject to change (per the a/s company site)

Do we really need all the details.

Hi, my trailer is listed as a "2005 25' Safari." But it really was designated as a 2005 Safari 25-B, meaning it has a queen bed. But to join the elite group, and after my recent remodel, I shall re-name it.

2005 Safari 25' RQ SSFL F/AD ST/O/MW

This means:

Year model....................2005
Model name...................Safari
Size.............................25 feet
Bed / RQ.......................Rear Queen
SSFL............................Six Seater, Front Livingroom
F / AD..........................French / Asian decore
ST / O / MW..................Stove Top / Oven / Micro-Wave

After thought; Maybe I should have added MF for mouse fur.

Why not just Year, Name, and length?
