I have a 1948, I live in WA and I am currently looking for my serial number. ( also mine has rectangle windows, I have noticed some have rounded windows that slide).

The presumably 1948 Wee Wind that has been sitting in my grandma's backyard in CA for *awhile* has had its VIN number dredged up from the CA DMV database. It apparently is 3035. I thought i saw the VIN plate a few years back and it was mostly illegible, but now i cant find it at all? did it fall off? am i looking in the wrong spot? Any thoughts on who had this trailer previously? Which windows are you guys talking about? Side or ends?

Now, that's a cool trailer. Just a weekend to totally rebuild. (Yeah, right) . Very nice.
