love that idea ... I'm from the UK, but have lived in the US since '95 ... fell in love with Airstreams about 6 years ago and bought the mother ship of all trailers, a 31' Land Yacht from 1972 ... stylish beyond words, light (5,000lbs) but not very practical !! I take it out once or twice every year and have been renting on Airbnb in my back yard (garden).
My dream is to tour the British Isles coast right up through Scotland & Ireland ..
You're better off finding a 24' model for easy access to most parks, but even then you need to book ahead to the day. Parks book out 6 months in advance to the second ... it's a nightmare in Cali. Good luck & have fun

We own a 2014 20 ft Flying Cloud that is towed by our 2017 Ford Explorer. We are looking for someone with a similar Airstream and tow vehicle to swap usage during 2022 anytime....we want to see the Upper Peninsula and the Appalachia (not necessarily on the same trip!) and don't want to travel all the way across the country from the Bay Area to get there! If you'd like to see the West Coast and have the same dred of a looooong trip across the country we should talk!

Go back out a level to the 'Airstream Lifestyle' forum (or any other forum). You will see a button on the left that says 'New Thread' right below the sub-forums list. Use that button to start a new discussion...if you are in a thread (like this one) and 'Reply' your post will be a added to the thread you are in.
