I've been down the Red River Gorge a couple of times, tent camping. I took the family once and again with the Scouts. It's a beautiful place. Hopefully you did some hiking and saw some of the arches.
It's beautiful but dangerous. People get up in the middle of the night to answer nature's call and walk off a cliff. We see one or two a year on the news. Sometimes they survive, mostly not.
