JPK 2000,
I suggest you look up "WIN" (wandering Individuals Network) as well as "LOW" (Loners on Wheels). Many women who travel alone might enjoy your company. good luck.

Thanks HCR for your suggestion. I am still looking for a navigator's position. Just to update my status: single, 62 year old female without an Airstream, living on the west coast. I am willing to share in expenses. I can bring a lot to trailering. Retired and free to travel.

That's how I feel about my 22! It's my space and I like it!

I was just recently camped on some family's property in Colorado and if I hadn't had my escape pod to go to every night there would be two people decomposing in Montorse After leaving their house I had to find a campground on a river without cell, internet or tv just for some peace & quiet.

And that's exactly the way I feel about my 22 footer. I sense a theme here...;-)

Yes, 21-23 foot trailer can be cozy. But two can manage well if you are good traveling companions. I wouldn't try it in a Bambi. A smaller trailer is much easier to deal with all around. My offer still stands if anyone is interested.

Cozy can be good!
I have friends with Bambi's and they make it work, pets included.
Best of luck to you!

Great suggestion! I am planning a get together next summer at my Ranch. I will have room for about 6-8 trailers on the hill and 40-50 in the meadow

I'm near Julian Ca on my second trip with the 1976 airstream I bought about 10 weeks ago. All the stuff I've fixed is working extremely well. After going on two weeks acculated time living in the trailer, I can say the 25 footer is great for a single person. I especially like the large bathroom in my coach. I could survive with another person in here (and a couple have offered), but it would be cozy and both parties would have to behave themselves, no selfish silly control trips.

All in all I like being alone in the coach.

Hi, just finding this group of 'single-streamers' Sign me up! Just purchased my '89 Classic Motorhome a month ago. No trips except around town for now. No vacation time left for the year, and too many things I would like to accomplish before setting out for an extended trip.
Thanks, Derek

Hey moparjohn. Glad you could join us and get some travelin' activity going here. The northwest & northeast season is winding down but hopefully we singles can plan a gathering somewhere down in warmer climates. So I know I'm going to sound pretty lame but what does FOD stand for? Thanks!!

Hi Carlita,

I have added comments through the years. I do not have my own Airstream, but would love to be join someone on the road. Don't know if you would care to have a travel mate in your Bambi. If you are interested, let me know.

Hi moparjohn,

I have the same offer for you that I gave to Carlita. Always looking for a way to travel in an Airstream. I am across the continent from you, but that is a simple geographical solvable problem.

I'm in MD headed south for the winter. Anything going on N.C. down to Fl.? Would like to hang & talk about vintage AIR. I'll be in GA./FL. 1 month or so. I'm alone, not lonely but company is welcome once in a while. I'm rehabbing a 1960 Safari and would love to talk shop. I'm a newbie.
