Musing about interest in solos

I find it curious that there are about 40 posts in this thread and 1200 people have viewed it (as of this writing).

Are they wanabes? and what do they wanabe? Single? or are they just voyeurs?

Personally I would love to have a club "sign". However as a Single Women I do not advertise the fact I am traveling alone. Personal safety at stake.

You are so correct...Maybe we could ask one of our resident artist to whip something up for us...There are so many talented people on the forum.

excellent point Michelle, safety first!.............how about a tattoo on the back of the neck or a secret decoder ring? (just kidding about the ring)....... what say anyone willing to submit designs for a t-shirt, do so and we can vote on it here. I'm sure if enough of us wanted one costs could be kept way down I know of a local (Ct) producer I will contact shortly. How many of you would purchase a quality t-shirt at a fair? price say $15-20? please respond here or pm me thankyou all martin

Having been recently informed that I am now single, I think it would be a good time to start seeing how the other side lives. Count me in!

How does "The Freewheelers" sound?
It doesn't indicate that the person traveling is single.
Just an idea!

"Freewheelers" is already spoken for by several other clubs. Most notably the historic car club in San Francisco.

hear ye, hear ye, hear ye ...ladies and gentlemen!.... I would like to recommend that we award the task of "producing the t-shirt with whichever design the group decides on to "Artstream" as some of you already know Micheal has an excellent reputation here on the forums and can offer us a quality tee for $19.95 + $2.00 flat rate shipping with a safe, convenient place to purchase the shirts. Artstream will provide 24/7 online ordering with Paypal and CC. and now for a shameless plug "for this and more great stuff please check out "CampStreamUSA.com" ........I would also like to remind folks to please send in submissions for the tee shirt design, everyone is welcome. then after posting designs here, we can all vote on our favorite design!

I'm all for starting/joining your singles group. I am definitely single. No attachments; not even my own Airstream. Can I still join? I am eager and definitely a fan.

Or as a friend of mine was fond of saying "People don't talk about you nearly as much as you wish they did."
