No more overthinking. The price is right. Air Forums and TAC and Rivettes and Western Silver Sisters and whatever other clubs are formed are worth their weight in gold or dues money, especially at no charge.

WBCCI woes are not visited upon the other clubs because they are not demanding money that is spent to only benefit the few.

I read the post yesterday where Just Camping is it(?) said he would camp with anyone, he has no shame; Airstreamers, SOBs, WBCCIer's Air Forum members, anyone, and I think that is the way to be! Wish I had said that.

One more exclusive, divisive entity that thinks it is better than another will send me into a silly string tizzy and I will be forced to goop the entire assembly.

For one, a forum is not a club.

Definition of a forum: an assembly, meeting place, television program, etc., for the discussion of questions of public interest.

So, the forums, the official meeting place of TAC, is just that, a place where people in a club, or not in a club, or in different clubs, MEET and discuss things, in a social environment.

There are quite a few clubs here on the forums now, all coming together for a common purpose.

Our TAC purpose is to bring back the basics to Airstreaming and focus on the fun part of it, with little to no politics.

hi rob, i sent you a pm and you sent me my number. i am happy to be TN3. i noticed that i was not in the lineup you sent out. i also would like you to send me the lineup again as i got so excited upon seeing it, i deleted it. go figure.

MI7 represents censorship and propaganda. TAC represents openeness and truth.

I'm not sure MI7 should even be a valid TAC number.

Well intelligence just won't be a problem here.. So maybe Im off the hook??? I guess Rob thought that number fit me for some reason...

I agree, they are making it very "political". taking a great idea of friendship and commonality and twisting it into something ugly. I joined this "club" with the belief it was for all of us to get together for FUN and not make a bunch of rules. I am still a member, and will be as long as the "club" will have me.
I just want to be able to get together with like minded people and have fun.
Isn't that what TAC is all about?

Hi Dorian,

I joined with the same belief and I think that it is going to be that way.

One of the few down sides of an organization with no officers is that when anyone starts spouting off, it is easy to confuse that with group policy.

Thanks everyone for joining!! It is I, Rob, that started this with the help of Andy R and Janet here on the forums.. I asked Frank to help be a coordinator as I thought it might get a little busy. Others were involved bouncing ideas of what a new club had to be, and what it needed to be about.. one thing was clear, NO POLITICS!!!!!!!

So, I agree with you all here.. no politics.. JUST HAVE FUN!!! I thought long and hard on that DUES quote on the sign up page.. and thought it was clear - when needed, WE ALL PITCH IN WHERE WE CAN!!!! a kitty.

I've been having fun, as the emails to join have trickled in.. we're over 180 members as I write this.. THANKS TO ALL OF YOU WHO WANT TO HAVE FUN!!!!

Keep it up.. for us here in the Northeast.. I can't wait for the snow to melt!!!
