Highland Haven FRC combo

Thought some of you may be interested in a noval concept that is underway.

Some members of Highland Haven have come up with a noval approach to camping out. From May through October, they park their Airstreams at highland Haven - you know, that place p on the ridge near the Blue Ridge Parkway - to enjoy the great views and friendship. then when the park closes, they store their trailers nearby at a farmers place and drive 20 miles to Roanoke, VA here they reside in FRC in the comfort of their own apartment. FRC has everything - Activity center, swimming pool, free bus service to the mall, local banks, food Lion and Krogers. Want to go to town, just call for their car - costs less then driving your own.. We now have several Airstreamers here and looking for more to join us. Interested Just tell Ken at FNC that Bob Thompson sent you and he will show you around. for more info, send me an e-mail at "bobt280@gmail.com"

I could be wrong, but I believe that's Friendship Retirement Community.

I've visited Va. Highland Haven - it's beautiful beyond words. I know it's restricted to Airstreams, but does one have to be a WBCCI member to join? I would seriously consider buying a lot/membership there, but my future within WBCCI is very much up in the air.

Paula,
on the website it does not state that it is WBCCI only....I was wondering about that too...since my membership with WBCCI is also up in the air!!!!

While Highland Haven Airstream Park is for Airstream owners, one does NOT have to belong to WBCCI. Also members may invite friends of other brands to spend a week or so visiting them there. Visit our website and plan to come and enjoy a politic free zone which includes happy hours, riendshipand good neighbors. There may be a site or two for sale, but they go fast.
