Camping clubs going out of business

I read that the FMCA is closing. I think this is Family Motor Coach Association. Will the Airstream club be next?
You pay a lot to a national association who coordinates cross country trips. With the country closed down for most of this camping season I would guess there will not be a lot of renewals.

In FMCA news they said that they will not be operating at full capacity until after the "stay at home" order in Ohio is lifted. Nowhere does it say they are "closing"!! Another rumour starting!!

The Wally Byam Airstream Club has been growing since 2014 and the International Rally size has doubled during those years. The caravan program has had many new and exciting adventures and the National/Special Event Rallies continue to grow.

Yes, this year will be a disappointment for many of the members. Our Caravan along the North East Coast and ending on Prince Edward Island was cancelled. I don't see this as a reason for members to abandon this wonderful club. I see another year ahead with many opportunities for members to enjoy their Airstream and traveling with their Airstream family.

Georgia on my Mind caravan

People are already signing up for the Georgia on my Mind caravan in March 2021. I expect it will fill up quickly after the article in the June Blue Beret about this year’s caravan.

This year is a “pause” in the action and I think many folks are anxious to get back out there caravaning (sp?) and rallying.

The Airstream Club is the best part of owning an Airstream in my opinion. It’s not going away.

Where exactly did you read that FMCA is closing? Do you have a link to the article?
