My wife and I are planning on purchasing a 5th Wheel / TT by the end of summer. I had been looking at the Heartland RV's Toy Haulers, but the form factor and love for AS has always been my dream of ownership. Little did I know they had the perfect design for what we were looking for- the PanAmerica.

Now where to buy one? The only one I see for sale online anywhere is a Victorxxxx modified one for 90K. Not worth buying and renovating.

Does anyone on the forum know where a used one might be available? There was one at Camping World in Texas, but it sold in 3 weeks :-(

Seems to me that I read that whereas AS do not have it in their lineup any more, they will still build a PanAmerica on special order.

(PS - I always liked the idea of a toy hauler, but my Mrs feels that every one we have looked at - including the PanAmerica - just compromises the inside too much, so the motorcycle stays home and the mountain bikes come with us instead!)

I would agree that having a TH does compromise the inside layout. The new Heartland 5th wheel TH's have some nice layouts. However the compromise is that its a 5th wheel (truck bed) and its a big box!

We have 2 large retrievers. The split room design and an AS is just very appealing.

Mine is working out great for it intended use having fun at a race right now. One other cool thing is you buy the most expense toy hauler and motorhome and this trailer will get more people wanting to look at it which I like it unique and not like all the others.

We to are looking for one, not in a hurry but we want one. Will trade a really nice 1 off show car for one if someone want to do some trading. looks like they where in the line up for the 2009, 2010 and 2011 build years, if my research is correct. I can't afford to have a new one made so i will wait till one comes along.

Hope i don't have to wait to long

ya i did see that, but it had been modified. do bedroom and i think the shower is gone also.
