just so you know...69 not 79

So I'm checking out E-Bay, see an ad for a 79 Airstream, I take a look, squared off lower corners on the wing windows, and a real wood interior. I sent the seller a kind, quick note, "just so you know, it's a 69 not a 79." I get back a sarcastic "just so you know, the title says 79 and the vin matches the title." I want to respond back with details to show the reasons it's a 69, but why bother. Why people cannot except useful help is beyond me. But if anyone else wants to point it out to him, I'll enjoy the laugh! John

OK, I couldn't help myself. I sent the guy a breakdown of the VIN. Then asked what the correct VIN is. His reply.....The VIN is correct and the title matches.

Thanks, I mean come on, a 69 has lots of 1 year only stuff. I bet he does not even know he might/could make more money on it because it is a 69. Bet he's a flipper. John
