He has a theory about "balanced running gear", and he's just about ready to test it.

He's going out to a private spot to "suck heads". The right pot holds crawdads, which obviously can hold only enough for him and he doesn't want to share. He plans to hide the "leavin's" in the left pot until he can dispose of them secretly.

Based on the shrubbery and the sandals, I think he was auditioning for a movie part playing Moses.

He went to empty the slop jars and a big wind came up and blew his beret over the hill.

Ok, I say dumping the dishwater from the prior evening, or dumping the water from washing the clothes.

He's off to get rid of the Stella paste. Could probably clog up a whole prairie dog town!

PeeWee, can I ask? Who was the model in the Victoria's Secret Airstream thread? No, I'm not going to be winning any prizes with questions like this either. But karma to you and thanks for the great history!

CSI: The real poop

My Dear Mr. Watson,

Your photographs always bring so much joy to my heart. What the subject is "doing" in your latest submission is really quite elementary, kind sir.

As you can plainly see, he is stopped dead in his tracks. Perhaps even "pasted" to the ground.

The left pot appears to be empty while the right one looks full, but I think the fact that he is standing still is the important detail here. That and the landscape lead me to conclude that what we're seeing here is the last time Mr. Byam wore sandals... I have deduced that he is in the midst of confronting a snake, perhaps even a rattler of the genus holyfreak in'bleep, or some other similarly ferocious beast, and is ever so slooowwly turning to his left to run straight at the photographer who is no doubt thoroughly enjoying the show and the subject's obvious discomfort.

I do wonder, however, did our mischievous photographer wind up getting an unexpected bath that morning?

Yours truly,

~ The cowboy-boot-wearin' Sherlock Holmes

You all could not be further from the truth... Wally is on his way to a WDCU potluck. In his right hand is a pot of little wiennies floating in sauce. If you look carefully he has a box of tooth picks in his back left pocket. The left hand pot contains all the eye patches he was going to hand out that night. They are not heavy so the pot appears to be empty. This photo was taken around April 1 1950, when the eye patch first became the official symbol of the WBCC.

enough of the fantasy guess... I think Wally is taking food to a neighbor camping next door or even the land owner. He is taking some bread or biscuits in the left pot and stew or soup in the right pot. This kind of gesture would have been a way of showing diplomacy and good will.

What is Wally doing?

Put on your CSI and do a forensic on this picture.

This is not just another "Cold Case."

It's during the Yucatan expedition. He is approaching the Cenote of Sacrifice to make a sacred contribution.

Hey, I need to check the history of my pots!

Hmm...I have those indentical pots and I know what I use them for! The one on the left is not as empty as you think, it has warm soapy water with lysol disinfectant in it! is on his way to the boondock privy/dumping station!

Yep, that pot on Wally's right looks like one my Grandpa had when I was very very young. When I asked him if I could take it to the beach for playing in the sand he said, "Snookie, that bucket isn't a playtoy."

Maybe the ground where Wally was camping didn't lend itself to gopher holes. So he had to look for an alternative dump site.

Warning!

To whom it may concern,

Using my x-ray vision, I can clearly see that the pot on the right contains a beautiful looking stew inundated with a rare strain of kryptonite-infused green chiles.

I want NO part of that!!

With warmest regards,

~ Superman
