Wanderlust at 75
Do any forum members have for sale or know where I might find a copy of "Wanderlust at 75" that includes the aluminum riveted case. I've found copies for sale on the internet and also at the Airstream store but none include this case. Was this something that was only available with the first edition? Thanks!
Bob

Hi Bob, You can also post a wanted add at Main Index - Airstream Trailer & Airstream Motorhome Classifieds. It's free and will get move visibility. Good luck.

Sorry I don't have a answer to your question, but if you buy the book off of ebay make sure it includes the DVD, I bought a copy from ebay from a huge book store, but it was missing the DVD and I didn't know to ask. You might want to call Airstream and see if they have any left, I remember seeing one or two when we where at Jackson Center a few years ago.

Limited Numbered Edition
If Airstream has sold out all of their riveted editions, then the only place left is the net. I'm quite sure that this rare and sought after edition will not only be hard to find, but very expensive.

Only the riveted Aluminum copy of this book had the DVD included in a pocket inside the back cover. The base edition did not have either the DVD nor the pocket for it.
To give you an idea of the original cost differential, the aluminum clad version cost $99.99 when new and was limited to 1000 individually serial numbered copies. The basic edition was "only" $39.99, was produced in far greater numbers, and as far as I know it is still available from Airstream.
For those that are members of the Vintage Airstream Club, there is an article about this book and other Airstream coffee table books in the latest edition of the VAC Vintage Advantage newsletter. Just look for the Vintage Reading Corner article.

That is really odd. I have both editions and they are exactly as I described, which agrees with how they were originally marketed by Airstream.
The riveted edition was actually the same book as the basic (except for the DVD and pocket) that slid into the riveted case, so I suppose if you bought yours used, you got one that had been separated from it's original riveted case. Otherwise, I can only assume you got one that accidentally had the DVD when it was not supposed to.
