I couldn't figure out how to add the photo here but the link to it is above.

I don't know of any way to prove or disprove that your Caravanner was at the first International Rally in
1958 because the club did not retain any attendance records that I am aware of.
But I can say your Caravanner did not have number 4660 on it if it did attend that rally because that number was not originally assigned until
1962. If it was at the
1958 International Rally it would have then had a number less than 2290, the highest number in the
1958 Membership Directory. And given that 2290 was the maximum number at the end of 1958, I can pretty much assume that the highest number at the International Rally in July would have been something less than 2000.
I went and looked at your Flicker photos, and I agree with Shari that it looks like there is the number 1784 under the 4660! That would at least open the possibility that your Caravanner was at the 1958 International Rally . . . BUT . . .
I looked at the rest of the Flicker photos and noticed that your Caravanner has
1959 wheel well shape and a
1959 serial number (22D-0122), making it a
1959 Caravanner, not a 1958 Caravanner. Additionally, the serial number plaque has the number 1058 on it meaning that your Caravanner was built in October 1958 (very appropriate for a 1959 Caravanner). This clearly means it could NOT have been at the 1958 International Rally in July 1958.
Sorry that I ended up proving the opposite of what you hoped. Enjoy your Caravanner anyway!
